I am a bit behind in posting these outfits – as you can see by the fact I work this junk in NOVEMBER. What can I say, it’s been busy around here. But really, fashion doesn’t expire, does it? You won’t judge me, will you, my poppets? Good. Now, about this outfit…
I am incredibly smitten with this tank. The reason being, feathers. How wonderful are feathers, and how much do I love them? A great deal. These days I must admit that I am rather over Forever 21 (shhh,…don’t tell them that I said that). Let’s be honest – the quality of the clothes is rather crummy, and these days I am all about the “investment piece” – primarily because I am up to my damn ears in crummy things. Also, their sizing tends to be inclined towards the more teenage bent – which results in me feeling rather depressed when I try on a medium in something, and it fits me like a bib. So yes, I have gotten over Forever 21.
However, I will on occasion still pop into the shop, hoping that maybe I was mistaken, maybe I can find something that will return us back to our glory days when I was enjoying their patented, devil-may-care Kool-Aid. And this top is exactly the reason I still drop in; once in a while, I find a diamond, and my doubts are relieved, if just temporarily.
My, this became quite the Forever 21 rant, didn’t it?
