Hi ansi,

They sound awesome! I actually got my boots repaired at a shoe repair shop in Manhattan (they can be tricky to find, but they do in fact still exist). I hunted around for a quote, and they were by far the cheapest - $40. The quotes I received went as high as $70, so I suggest doing your homework. Good luck!

Oh my GOSH, what a good deal! They fit so well with your proportions too - color me jealous.

My shoe staple is this one pair of Fioni (yes, the Payless brand) synthetic boots that I bought at Goodwill a couple years ago for $9. They're knee-high, with elastic corset bands along the back, and a couple of straps at the foot, and I wear them with everything, haha. I've been wanting to get them resoled and waterproofed for a while, but have no idea where to go or how much it costs! May I ask where you got your boots did?
